Our cooperation in the liberated territories is not limited to the agricultural sector, Dmitry Pinevich, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan, told APA.
The Ambassador said that the agro-city to be established in Aghdam will not only provide employment for the population but also contribute to the country’s food security: “Within the framework of the project we are implementing in Aghdam, the agro-cities to be established are being formed together with agro-industrial enterprises according to the Belarusian model and will provide the local population with jobs.”
The Ambassador noted that the cooperation already covers various sectors: “We already have several cooperation projects in the Aghdam Industrial Park. We hope that more new projects will emerge there, and these will turn into real industrial cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan in various fields, from construction materials to technical products and the machine-building complex.
