In Azerbaijan, the export of agricultural products has increased by 43% in value over the last 5 years and 2.9 times over the last 10 years, Zaur Aliyev, advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, said at the event “Customs-Business Forum 2025: Dialogue and Trust” in Baku,” APA-Economics reports.
He noted that agricultural product exports amounted to 875.1 million US dollars in the first 10 months of 2025, with the main export products being fruits (57%), vegetables (23%), and cotton fiber (16%): “In 2024, agricultural product imports amounted to 1.08 billion US dollars and exports to 948 million US dollars.”
