Azerbaijan's fruit and vegetable export revenues increased by 10%

In the months of January-February this year, Azerbaijan exported 100,399 tons of fruits and vegetables worth USD 108 million 999 thousand, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.

According to the information, this is 9.6% and 15.3% more, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

The revenues from fruit and vegetable exports in the two months accounted for 2.29% of the country's total exports and 22.47% of non-oil exports.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 88,057 tons of fruits and vegetables worth USD 65 million 977 thousand. This is 4.5% more and 3.8% less, respectively, in an annual comparison.

In the two months, the share of fruit and vegetable imports in the country's total imports was 1.59%.
