The government of Azerbaijan is working to develop mutual cooperation with partner countries in the field of food safety in order to facilitate the export of locally produced goods, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said during a panel discussion at the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that there are significant opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan, as differentiated approaches are applied in subsidy programs.
The Minister emphasized that the territories liberated from occupation hold great potential for cultivation:
“I invite all potential investors to invest here. As the Ministry, we will continue to carry out further work, and I am confident that all state institutions will also be pleased to assist, guide, and support every investor.”
