One of the conditions for the import of the cigarette as a tobacco product, the importer should operate at least 1 year in the field of the production of the tobacco product, it was reflected in the proposed amendment to the law "On Tobacco and Tobacco Products", which was discussed at today's meeting of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.
Noted that the main objective of this condition is protecting the interests of the internal market, maintaining the priority of local production, increasing the potential of exportation, as well as controlling a person's sustainable and purposeful activity.
