In January-September of 2024, Azerbaijan imported 256 thousand 644 tons of fruits and vegetables worth 195 million 802 thousand US dollars, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
According to information, this is 27.8% and 11.7% more than the same period last year, respectively.
During the reporting period, the import of fruits and vegetables made up 1.34% of the total import of the country.
During this period, Azerbaijan exported 439 thousand 161 tons of fruits and vegetables worth 458 million 798 thousand US dollars. This is 2.5% and 5.1% less compared to the year, respectively.
In nine months, the export of fruits and vegetables made up 2.31% of the country's total export.
