In January–April of this year, the value of local products imported by Azerbaijan from Georgia amounted to 47.9 million US dollars, APA’s local bureau reports, citing Georgia’s National Statistics Office.
Azerbaijan increased imports of Georgian products by 20.8% compared to the same period last year.
Azerbaijan ranked ninth among Georgia’s top export partners for locally produced goods, accounting for 3.1% of the country’s exports in this category.
During the reporting period, the total value of locally produced goods exported from Georgia reached 2.44 billion US dollars, marking a 21.1% year-on-year increase.
The top ten locally exported products included oil and petroleum oils, precious metal ores and concentrates, ferroalloys, copper ores and concentrates, fresh grape wine, natural or artificial mineral and carbonated waters without added sugar, mineral and carbonated waters with added sugar, nuts, gold, and alcoholic beverages.
