Agricultural production in Azerbaijan decreased by about 1% in January-August of this year, APA-Economics reports, citing State Statistical Committee.
According to the information, the volume of agricultural production in the first eight months of this year amounted to 9,424.2 million manat, which is 0.8% less than in the same period last year. The decrease occurred mainly in crop production. Thus, during this period, production in crop production decreased by 2.5% to 4,776.1 million manat.
The livestock sector increased by 1.1% to 4,648.1 million manat.
