2 269 775,4 tons product have been collected from 716 682 hectares of mown areas over Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Agriculture told APA-Economics.
Average grain productivity is 31.7 centners/ha now.
"Mowing of barley fields is nearing to an end. Barlet planting has been conducted up to nearly 370 thousand hectares in Azerbaijan, mowing has been completed in territory of 322 878 ha so far. Barley mowing is continued in mountainous territories. 976 992,6 tons of barley have been collected in total. The average barley productivity is 30.3 centners. Mowing of barley has been completed in foothills", noted the Ministry.
