Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economic Development meets with German entrepreneurs

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economic Development hosted representatives of German agricultural companies, the ministry said in a statement.
The Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev briefed the guests about the ongoing economic reforms in Azerbaijan, saying the country prioritized the development of non-oil sector in its economic policy.

According to him, the development of agriculture is on the focus.
He mentioned the State Program for Reliable Food Supply in 2008-2015 which was approved by the Head of State in August 2008.

He praised German companies’ interest in his country’s agrarian sector.

According to him, the Government of Azerbaijan supports projects like the one providing for the construction of a dairy complex in Aghstafa by RAO Global Group.

RAO Global Group’s project manager Rasul Orujov gave information about the Aghstafa Dairy Complex Project.
