Azerbaijan to export tractors to Turkey

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Gandja Auto Plant intends to open a representative office in Turkey, said kamran nazarov, deputy chairman of the plant.
He added that 36 000 different types of tractors are sold in Turkey every year.
“Turkey makes 8 000 to 9 000 tractors a year and imports the rest from abroad. We plan to export 300 to 500 tractors to Turkey a year at the first phase. Under Turkish law, there have to be aftersales service. So, we want to open an office there,†he added.
451 Belarus and 70 MAZ tractors came off the assembly line of Gandja Auto Plant during January-November.
