Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. A regional seminar on the topic of “The Pesticide Risk Reduction in Central Asia and Clearance of Old Pesticides†took place in Baku, bringing together representatives from Central Asia and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
It was noted that 7 countries, including Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries are preparing a joint paper for the removal of old pesticides.
The project will establish regional warehouses for the storage of pesticides, seminars and trainings on their use for relevant structures.
Also, the impact of pesticides on human health and natural resources will also be assessed.
