Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of August 1, 2012, 97.8% of winter and spring grain and leguminous plants area of grain has been reaped and 2,564.7 thousand tons of crop was taken from those areas.

The State Statistical Committee says per hectare product grew by 1.6 centner on average and made 26.3 centner.

521.1 thousand tons of potato, 713.5 thousand tons of vegetable, 162.7 thousand tons of fruit and berry, 295.3 thousand tons of garden products, 395.4 tons of green tea leaves, 1.6 thousand tons of tobacco were gathered from the fields.

During this period, meat production rose 3.5% to 251.800 tons, milk â€“ increased by 7.1% to 1,008.200 tons, egg â€“ by 18.5% to 699.9 mln units.
