Minister: â€˜Unstable weather will negatively affect fruitfulness in Azerbaijanâ€™

But no price rise is expected in this sphereâ€™, Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov said, APA reports.

To him, though this year expects good harvest in agriculture, unstable weather conditions, torrential rains and hails will show its negative affect: â€˜Rains has spoiled grain in some placesâ€™.

The minister added that as soon as weather becomes normal, it is planned to intensify the harvest and stock the product in a short time. Abasov noted that it would not cause price rise: â€˜This year Azerbaijan has seen enough growth in agriculture. Growth has made 7.1% within the last 5 months and I think that this figure will not change until the year-end. That is why no price rise can occur. Contrario, you see that prices slip day-by-dayâ€™.
