Azerbaijan and Israel to sign cooperation agreement in agricultural sphere

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva - APA-Economics. â€œIsrael has high-technology in agriculture and is willing to share the expertise with Azerbaijanâ€, said Agriculture Minister of Israel Orit Noked.

To her, Israel is willing to share experience with Azerbaijan in the field of irrigation, the establishment of greenhouses and conservatories. At the same time, Israel is interested in importing lamb from Azerbaijan.

The Minister noted that within the visit, a very fruitful meeting was held with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ismet Abasov. Noked said that she invited the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan to visit the exhibition, which will be held on May 15-17, in Israel: â€œI think that the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation and businessmen in this exhibition will be very helpful. I hope that during the visit, we can determine concrete spheres of agriculture to cooperate with Azerbaijanâ€.

During the visit, the sides also discussed signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of agriculture. â€œIf the contract will be ready by the time, we can sign the document during Ismat Abasovâ€™s visit to Israel. I am sure that after it is signed we will be able to do more to develop our cooperationâ€.
