Azerbaijan and Lithuania to sign contract on cooperation in agrarian sphere

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan and Lithuania will sign a contract on cooperation in agrarian sphere, recently, said the Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kazis Starkevichus at the meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov.

According to Lithuanian Minister, the contract was prepared and will be signed recently. At the same, cooperation issues in agricultural sphere between Azerbaijan and Lithuania were discussed at the meeting.

Abbasov basically interested in import of cattle to Azerbaijan and noted that Azerbaijan paid attention to animal breeding sphere and Azerbaijan imports cattle from Germany and Austria.

Within the conference, Ismat Abbasov also received Polish Minister of Agriculture Marek Sahichkin. The issues interesting for both sides were discussed at the meeting.

Abbasov noted that, he interested in import of grain products to Azerbaijan from Poland.
