Azerbaijanâ€™s Minister of Agriculture meets with Deputy PM of Bosnia Herzegovina - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku - APA-Economics. Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov has today met with the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of Bosnia Herzegovina Jerko Ivankovic Lijanovic.

Press service of the Ministry told APA that the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Bosnia Herzegovina in agrarian sphere.

Minister Ismat Abasov informed the guest about achievements in agrarian sphere of Azerbaijan and stateâ€™s care in this field. By taking the soil and climatic conditions, high export potential and the existence of favorable conditions for foreign investment, intention of local businessmen to invest in areas of the country’s agrarian economy and bring new technologies into account, Abasov put forward proposals on establishemtn of cooperation relations on belowmentioned directions:

- development of veterinarian phytosanitary and interministries contract projects for extension of legal base of bilateral cooperation in agricultural sphere between two countries
- establishment of cooperation relations among the agrarian scientific-researches institutions
- exchange of experiences on increase of adaptation and sustainability of agriculture to climate changesâ€™ affects.
- Exchange of research results in the development of animal breeding and poultry
- Application of modern technology in processing and remaining of plant-growing products
- Mutual experience exchange in artificial selection of different agricultural products
- Organization of activity of leading leasing companies and financial organizations of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Azerbaijan and investing in agrarian sector
- Information exchange on agrarian science
- Organization of symposium, seminars, conference, exhibition and fairs on agriculture
