To him, such cases were recorded only in some persons going to Russia: “According to official information of Russia side, only 9 such cases were revealed among the goods imported from Azerbaijan”.

The largest part of low-quality goods was 4.7 kg, the smallest part was 560 grams. The weight of goods in 7 cases from 9 was less 1 kg: “They were beans, roasted peas and etc, in bags of citizens taken for personal use. Usually, persons do not apply for the passage of the phytosanitary control of these products”.

Nevertheless, State Phytosanitary Control Service has increased attention in this sphere, sent official letter to the State Customs Committee. In order to avoid such cases in future, it is necessary to appeal for passage of the phytosanitary control of goods taken in personal luggage.
