Ministry of Agriculture: Price rise of meat has artificial character in Azerbaijan

To him, currently, there are above 2 mln 600 thousand cattle in Azerbaijan: “If there are 2.6 mln cattle in one country, which is not so big, then no lack can exist thereâ€.
Farajov noted that no shortage was felt neither in Baku no in the regions of the country: “Today, there is enough meat at supermarkets. If we can buy meat at any time we want, then what shortage can w speak about?â€
He added that the situation related to price rise of meat was discussed at the meeting of state bodies engaged in this sphere: “Sharp price rise of meat shows artificiality of it. I think that appropriate organizations must investigate this issueâ€.
