Baku - APA-Economics. Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, charged that after March 31, 2011, when the period of validity of the export quotas for grains terminates, the Government prepares the corresponding legislative act, which would change the current regime for customs duties in case of need, declared Irina Akimova, First Deputy Head of the President’s Administration, on March 29, Agrimarket Consulting reported.

According to her, imposition of customs duties is the possible scenario of the situation development only.

In the case, if the Verkhovna Rada cancels the further prolongation of quotas and imposition of customs duties, I.Akimova answered that in such case the quotas will be really canceled.

She outlined that from the last year the President of Ukraine continued disputing with the Government on practicability of imposition of the grain export quotas, and indicated non-transparency of the quotas distribution.
