Ministry of Agriculture holds Board Meeting

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Today, Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture has held a Board Meeting devoted to the execution situation of measures which are designed in Action Plan on the implementation of â€œConducted works in agriculture sphere in 2010 and duties in the future in 2011â€, â€œIncrease of transparency and National Strategy on the struggle against corruptionâ€ covering 2007-2011.

According to Ministry, Minister Ismat Abbasov said that the population was supplied with several agriculture productions from the domestic production. Thus, the growth rate of total agriculture production made 2.5%.

He also spoke about the shortcomings in production of agriculture produce and gave some tasks on the elimination and prevention of thee problems.

At the same time, the Ministry has revealed some shortcomings in the enterprises engaging in agriculture production sphere. As the result of this, some staffs have been dismissed.

The ministry gave some to the leaders of departments, State Agencies and Services, Agrolizing OJSC to take every measures on anti-corruption.
