Adalat Muradov: â€œAzerbaijani Governmentâ€™s decision on enlarging of list of import goods exempted from VAT will support development of non-oil sector

According to him, this list was enlarged importantly: â€œThe main purpose of decision is that the state doesnâ€™t apply any tax and duty for import of several goods. This supports the development of non-oil sector, in the countryâ€.

He also noted that, this decision covered most of agricultural goods. According to him, exemption of goods from VAT and customs duties can solve the problems of entrepreneurs on lack of turnover means: â€œAt the same time, this decision will help to entrepreneurs to import more goods and equipmentsâ€.

Saving of means spent to equipments will cause the investment projects worth and base prices of goods to be decreased: â€œThis decision will come into force from March 1 and create opportunity to extend the non-oil sector, meet the population with more qualitative goods and apply the modern techniques and equipments in agricultureâ€.
