Azerbaijan increases meat, milk and wool production

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan has produced 440 000 tons of meat in live weight, 1 529.2 thousand tons of milk, 1 178.9 mln eggs and 15 600 tons of wool, in 2010.

State Statistical Committee says that the meat production increased by 7.1%, milk â€“ 6.7%, wool â€“ 2.4%, egg production decreased by 2.5%.

As of January 1, 2011, the milking from cows and buffaloes made 1 188 kg.

Number of neat cattle increased dynamically to 2 637.4 thousand and sheep and coat made 8 463.1 thousand.

Note that, the value in current prices in the produced goods and services in forestry economy made AZN 2 042.8 thousand.
