Azerbaijani Parliament to discuss draft law on co-operative farming

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Meeting of Standing Commission of the Milli Mejlis (Parliament) on Agrarian Policy was held.

According to APA the chairman of MM Agrarian Policy Commission Eldar Ibrahimov says that 5 meeting were held during spring session. 8 issues include 6 bills were discussed at these meetings.

Then legislation for 2010 autumn session of Standing Commission of Agrarian Policy was adopted.

According to draft law on the co-operative farming opinions on the bill were got from more 20 state organizations. The draft law will support to development of agricultures, protection of domestic market. 179 agricultural cooperatives operate in Azerbaijan. The draft law consists of 8 chapters and 47 articles.

He also noted that this draft law was approved by Agrarian University.
