Some sausage producing enterprises inspected in Azerbaijan

Official of the center Imran Abdullayev told APA that they didnâ€™t identify bacteriological pollution in 108 products, but 12 of them failed tests.

Abdullayev said â€œDoktorskiâ€ sausage taken from a food shop at Mingachevir Street of Khatai district of Baku and sausage rolls and â€œServelatâ€ sausage from a shop at Babek Avenue of Nizami district were identified as bacteriological polluted. Colon bacillus was found in sausage examples taken from the shops at Mehmandarov Street of Khatai district, Bayil settlement of Sabayel district, Amirjan and Mastaga villages of Baku.

Abdullayev said a group of the Republican Hygienic and Epidemiological Center was continuing its work toward identifying producers of those polluted products. He said they would identify not only producers, but also conditions of sale, cut, washing the knives and disinfection. The center will repeatedly take examples to clarify reasons of their pollution. If the results coincide and producing enterprise is a source of pollution, they will take measures against those enterprises.
