Israeli Agro-business companies intend to do business in Azerbaijan

Baku. LachÄ±n Sultanova - APA. As a part of its program to introduce more Israeli companies to the Agricultural sector in Azerbaijan, as well as corresponding to president Ilham Aliyevâ€™s decision to develop the Agricultural sector of the country, the Embassy of Israel is hosting these days (9-11 November) 5 leading Israeli companies dealing with a variety of areas including Prinir - food processing, including postharvest expertise, AgriCo - live-stock project company like dairy farms, Soli Ltd - horticulture, Netafim - drip irrigation and G.A.T. - open fields, seeds, greenhouses and livestock. The guests bring with them vast experience and know how and a keen interest in doing business in Azerbaijan.

The visit plan includes meeting with top Azerbaijani companies and visiting the regions of Samukh, Ganga, Shamkir. Opening the business forum held on 9th of November, the Israeli ambassador said he will be willing to complement major deals between local and Israeli companies by offering extension services where needed.
