90 highbred cows brought from Germany to Azerbaijan perished

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. â€œ770 highbred cows were brought from Germany to Azerbaijan and 90 of them perished. The ministry held a large meeting on this issue and all guilty experts were punishedâ€, said the chief of the State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture Ismayil Hasanov, APA reports. He said not only veterinary service, but farmers, who bought the animals, are also guilty in the perishing of highbred cows. â€œThey can not create conditions for the animals brought from abroad, from different climate conditionsâ€.

Hasanov said perishing of 3 percent of the animals, which climate conditions were changed, was normal in the world, but 10 percent of highbred animals brought from abroad perished in Azerbaijan. It means that they were kept in abnormal conditions.

One highbred cow was bought from Germany for 3600-3800 AZN.
