President of Azerbaijan: "It is very important that diaspora organizations keep these historical moments always on the agenda"

"The separatist tendencies that began in the late 1980s virtually tore off most of Karabakh from Azerbaijan. They did it during the Soviet era. A special steering committee was set up and a pro-Armenian man was appointed from Moscow," said President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the 5th Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Shusha, APA reports.

"The history after that is also known. Our people have gone through all these sufferings for two centuries and finally proved themselves. Finally, we crushed the head of the enemy with an "iron fist" and restored historical justice and national dignity. Therefore, it is very important that diaspora organizations keep these historical moments always on the agenda, "the President said.
