"Our main focus is on how to rebuild Karabakh and to return former IDPs as soon as possible," said President Ilham Aliyev as he made a speech at the international conference under the motto “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation” held at ADA University, APA reports.

"Besides, our peace agenda and initiatives, announced to the public and supported by the international community, are aimed at regional development and new opportunities for regional development in the South Caucasus. Of course, it is one of the most important elements of regional cooperation and is aimed at the development of the entire South Caucasus, not only between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We have lost this opportunity for 30 years because of separatism and Armenian aggression, and the South Caucasus has failed to integrate. Yes, there is very close cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, which is important bilaterally and internationally. But at the same time, Armenia must understand that they cannot continue to live as an isolated island in the region, they need to normalize relations with us, must renounce territorial claims against Azerbaijan and Turkey, and not hesitate about any trilateral relations in the South Caucasus", - said the head of state.
