"But despite all these positive points that I mentioned, each of us - the Azerbaijani government, embassies, diaspora organizations, all activists must convey the new realities to the world community, "said President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the 5th Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Shusha, APA reports.

"You, Azerbaijanis living abroad, have greater opportunities in this regard. In recent years, our diaspora organizations have become very active. We witnessed it both in the Second Karabakh War and before it. Even despite the physical attacks of the Armenian radical forces - they again committed crimes against our activists using their majority in numbers- however, the Azerbaijanis raised their voices, which also must be done today.

"I.e. the society of the country that you live, if it is possible to say so, they should be enlightened- both about the realities of Azerbaijan, the post-war period, and Azerbaijan’s history. I consider that it is very important. Because historical factors are always very important in the settlement of any conflict politically and in other ways. It is just enough to convey agreements signed in the XIX century to the international community. Kurekcay, Gulustan, Turkmencay agreements. After these historical events of the 19th century, mass migration of Armenians to Karabakh started. It is not a secret to anyone, and the world community, experts know it, and it would be good wide community also to know it. We should inform the international community about injustices committed against the Azerbaijani people,” stressed the President.
