Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom Alan Duncan in London on April 26, APA reports.
Duncan congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his re-election as the president of Azerbaijan and wished him success in his work.
The British minister stressed that Ilham Aliyev’s re-election will ensure the continuation of Azerbaijan’s rapid development.
During the meeting, bilateral and regional cooperation and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
The sides also exchanged views on the negotiation process for settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
