On March 13, around 14:30 pm, employees of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources stooped a Niva car that illegally entered the territory of the guard post â„–4 of the Aghgol National Park.
Traps for catching falcons, domestic pigeons and special devices for detecting birds were found during the search in the car, the ministry told APA.
The driver of the Niva, identified as Qatari citizen Saif Mubarak Al-Hajri, was fined 2,000 manats for attempted illegally hunting.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources continues raids to prevent illegal hunting in the country.
