“It will not be easy to become a champion”, - President of FC Gabala Taleh Heydarov said in an interview with the correspondent of apasport.az.
T. Heydarov said he did not expect such easy victory: "In the first round Kapaz defeated us at home with a score of 0: 2. Therefore, we wanted to win today. Despite the fact that Kapaz closes the standings, the meeting was important for us. We did not expect such an account. Our team played well and achieved an excellent result.”
The president of the club noted the successful performance of Gabala in the first 13 rounds: “I think that we performed well. We should not have lost points in some matches. Sometimes Gabala unexpectedly loses points in games with weak teams. But on the whole, we are satisfied with the current state of affairs.”
According to him, if this continues, Gabala will try to put an end to the hegemony of Garabakh FK: “We will try to do this. “Garabagh” is very strong, performs well in the Champions League. So it will not be easy to become a champion.”
As for the new transfers, T. Heydarov noted that the club is ready to acquire those players whom the head coach wants to see at his disposal, but within the budget: “As always, the head coach is free to include in the composition of those he wants.”
