Steps have been and will be taken for development and modernization of road infrastructure. Baku-Ganja highway meets the world standards. We’ll start to broaden the highway from Ganja to Georgian border from next year, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the meeting with public representatives in Ganja.
“I want Ganja citizens to know that I have given instruction about investigation into issues on launch of Baku-Ganja express train. You know that Azerbaijan is purchasing the most modern trains and this process will continue. The first express trains will be used in Baku-Ganja and Baku-Sumgayit routes. Reconstruction of railway is carried out rapidly. the speed of trains of the Baku-Boyuk Kesik railway will be 120 km/h after development of the railway. All these are carried out for you, people to live better. Many of infrastructure projects have already been implemented, others will be completed”, he said.
