Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the protocol signed on 14 June 2017 between the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation on organization of the exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles transported through the customs border checkpoints of the two countries, APA reported.
Under Part 1 of the decree, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan shall ensure the fulfillment of provisions of the Protocol after it comes into force.
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry is to send a notification to the Russian Federation Government on the implementation of the necessary internal procedures for the protocol to enter into force.
