President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May have addressed the messages of congratulations to the participants of the Fifth Global Baku Forum, which kicked off in Baku March 16.
The messages were read out at the opening of the forum, APA reported.
In his message, the Italian president underlined the importance of intercultural dialogue.
Matarella considered important to increase efforts in this field and wished success to the forum.
British Prime Minister Theresa May, in her message, recalled that the Global Baku Forum is being held for the fifth time.
“This year Azerbaijan and the UK mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations. The UK intends to expand the cooperation with Azerbaijan. I wish success to the 5th Baku Global Forum”, Theresa May said in her message.
