Cases of pressure on Azerbaijani businessmen in Ukraine will be dealt with by not only law-enforcement agencies but also deputies, Kuryachiy Maksim Pavlovich, a member of Ukraine’s parliament, head of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary working group, told APA on Tuesday.
“We will actively cooperate with the Azerbaijani embassy and diaspora in Ukraine on this matter. No such case will be left unattended to or uninvestigated,” he said.
The deputy noted that there are some in Ukraine who seek to harm Kiev-Baku relations, stressing the importance of the leaders of the two countries remaining committed to the strategic course they have determined.
