Syrian army’s operation to liberate eastern Aleppo from terrorists has been completed, APA reports quoting the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry.
The ministry noted that the operation to pull out militants and their family members from eastern areas of Aleppo was completed: “In total, more than 9,500 people have been evacuated from eastern Aleppo since the operation started. But there are still a group of radical militants in some quarters. Syrian army units continue the liberation of quarters of Aleppo, captured by radicals,” the report said.
