Hail in Gakh, Zagatala, Balaken seriously damages private households

Zagatala. Vugar Heydarov – APA. A strong hail fell in Azerbaijan’s northwest regions.

APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports that unstable weather condition was observed in Balaken, Zagatala and Gakh regions for 2 hours starting from about 5:00 a.m.

Balaken Region Executive Power told APA that a rain with strong wind and short-term hail fall in Talalar, Tulu, Yeni Sharif, Gaysa, Khalatala villages of the region damaged private households, orchards, roofs of several houses were damaged, delayed power supply.

For the present, Balaken Region Emergency Situations Commission is working to specify the scale of the damage.

Zagatala Region Executive Power told APA that a rain with strong wind and short-term hail fall in Uzuntala, Hoytala, 3^rd Tala, Dagli, Bahmadli villages and Aliabad settlement damaged private households, orchards, roofs of several houses were damaged, delayed power supply.

Unstable weather condition caused same situation in Goraghan, Tasmali and Zayam villages of Gakh region. Gakh Region Emergency Situations Commission is working to specify the scale of the damage.

Thunder burned a house in Garakli village of Balaken region. The host and his daughter were hospitalized with burn injuries.
