Lawyer Elchin Namazov released

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. Imprisoned lawyer Elchin Namazov has been released.

APA reports that he was released as his term of imprisonment expired.

Note that, E. Namazov was sentenced to 15-day imprisonment on November 25 with the decision of the Khatai District Court. He was convicted of non-compliance with a demand of the police.

Note that, Namazov’s advocacy was terminated with a decision of the Presidium of the Bar Association in 2011. Since then, Elchin Namazov has attended hearings as a representative.
