Baku – APA. Within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture, a classical music night will be held in Cannes, France, Heydar Aliyev Foundation told APA.
Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and mayor of Cannes Bernard Brochan will make speeches at the opening of the program, organized within the project on publicity and immortalization of Azerbaijan’s culture. On the same day, Soltan Hajibeyov’s “Caravan” symphonic poem, overture from Uzeyir Hajibeyov’s “Koroglu” opera, popular and composers’ songs will be played by Azerbaijan Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov.
Thereafter, “National Kitchen Day” will allow familiarization with Azerbaijan’s national meals, hospitability, traditions.
The culture days will end on July 7. Tomorrow, there will be held a grandiose show and “Arshin mal alan” film will be demonstrated in Cannes.
