Azerbaijani representative takes the second place at Eurovision 2013 song contest - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Malmö. Ulker Gasimova - APA. On May 18 in the Swedish city of Malmo took place the final show of the Eurovision-2013 song contest, APA reports.

APA’s special correspondent in Sweden reports that the opening ceremony of the final show, as in previous years, was organized by the spectacular.

Each of the 26 finalists in turn went to the scene on a specially built bridge, and performed in front of Europe. All participants, including the representative of Azerbaijan Farid Mammadov, took to the stage with the flags of their countries.

Representatives from 26 countries showed their performances at the scene, and Azerbaijani representative Farid Mammadov performed with "Hold me" song.

Note that the highest points was given to Azerbaijan by Israel(12), Austria(12), Hungary(12) Bulgaria(12), Russia(12), Malta(12), Greece(12), Georgia(12), Montenegro(12) Romania(10), Belarus(10) and Ukraine(10). Moldova, France and Cyprus gave 8 points to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan gave 8 points to Malta, 10 points to Georgia and 12 points to Ukraine.

According to the voting, Denmark gathering 281 votes took the 1st place, Azerbaijan gathering 234 votes took the 2nd place and Ukraine gathering 214 votes took place the 3rd place.

Thus, the song contest Eurovision-2014 will be held in Denmark.
