Lavrov and Kerry again discuss situation in Nagorno-Karabakh - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Baku-APA. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry spoke about Nagorno-Karabakh and the conflict there and the need to continue to try to restore a better sense of calm between the sides, said U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby, APA reports.

Lavrov and Kerry also took up other pressing international problems like the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and developments in the Middle East.

Baku-APA. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had a telephone conversation on May 2, APA’s Moscow bureau reports quoting the statement released by Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Both ministers continued discussing the prospects for settlement and urged the parties to the conflict to observe ceasefire," the ministry said in a report. "Also, they coordinated further steps as co-chairpersons of the Syria International Support Group, including preparations for its yet another meeting."

Lavrov and Kerry also took up other pressing international problems like the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and developments in the Middle East.
