Azeryolservis OJSC makes proposal for traffic regulation in Baku

According to head of press service of Azeryolservis OJSC Anar Najafli, the OJSC make a proposal to the Traffic Security Commission to permit the trucks to enter Baku only from 00:00 to 07:00.

At the same time, the trucks entered Baku from 00:00 to 07:00 are not permitted to move inside the city in the daytime: “They can move in the city only from 00:00 to 07:00”.

Najafli also noted that though there were imposed many restrictions on the entry of trucks the city, they moved in the city in the daytime: “Azeryolservis OJSC wants to achieve regulation by this proposal. The final decision regarding this proposal will be made by the Traffic Security Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers”.


On July 1, the duration of traffic restrictions on the Games lanes was extended for 10 days as BEGOC appealed that the athletes taking part in Baku 2015 first European Games and foreign guests are still in the city.

Upon the request of the residents who were satisfied with the arrangement of traffic movement in the capital during the Games, as well as the comfortable and smooth movement of vehicles as a result of the elimination of traffic congestion and its positive impact on the environment, the Road Safety Commission under the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan hold meetings and discussions with the participation of the Commission members to develop action plan for solving traffic problems, and probably in next few days, the public will be given detailed information about the decisions to be adopted.
