"Trusting the responsibility of hosting the first European Games to our country by European elite sports bodies proves the high confidence, gained by Azerbaijan in the European family under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and its high status as a sports country, said chairman of the European Azerbaijan Society Tale Heydarov at the presentation event dedicated to launching Oxford University Press in Azerbaijan.

Heydarov noted that the EU-Azerbaijan relations are developing successfully:"Today's event is held on the remarkable days when the first stage of the preparations of the first European Games to be held in Baku is being finalized successfully and the Games’ torch continues to pass all regions of our native country festively.
