Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloghlu – APA. We can’t interfere in the matter of VIP tents used at mourning ceremonies, as it is the work of another institution. However, a draft law on cemeteries was developed and is currently being considered by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli made the remarks on Friday during the meeting with media heads on “National, moral and religious values: historicity and modernism" organized by the Committee on the initiative of the Press Council, APA reports.
Gurbanli said that the draft law envisages the rules about size of the graves and cemeteries.
“The draft law offers making graves from 50 cm ordinary headstone and 60 cm tombstone. Distances between graves were also determined. It doesn’t cover paid cemeteries. The graves will be lined up, there will be exceptions only for spouses,” he added.
