Baku. Javid Zeynalli - APA. Artist Mehriban Afandi will represent Azerbaijan in the next exhibition of the “International Surrealism Now” project.
The artist’s Mirriad work will be presented in the exhibition to be held on August 9 – September 6 in Vieira Portuense Gallery in Porto city of Portugal, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told APA.
The Ministry said that representatives from 28 countries will participate in the exhibition. Moreover, photos, sculpture and digital art patterns will be demonstrated in the exhibition.
Artist M.Afandi joined the project in 2010 sponsored by Bissaya Barreto Foundation at the special invitation of project leader, well-known Portuguese artist Santiago Ribeiro. The aim of the project is to bring together modern professional surrealists after Salvador Dali and introduce them to the world.
