Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Sayyad Salahli (Aran) has today received Moldovan member of the European Council, Chairperson of the PACE on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development, former President of the European Baptist Federation Valeriu Ghiletchi.
The Committee’s press service told APA that Salahli informed the guest about the high level of religious tolerance in Azerbaijan and works done by the government to promote religious tolerance.
The guest stressed that the works done in this direction are highly appreciated in the international arena and he also interested in the Christian Baptist community in Azerbaijan.
