Baku – APA. “Ukraine will file a lawsuit against Russia at the International Court of Justice over the annexation of Crimea,” said Ukraine presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko on the air of the Shuster Live TV show, APA reports quoting gazeta.ua.

Poroshenko told that the American and European lawyers are helping Ukraine in filing a lawsuit: “European lawyers and our American partners are also taking part in filing a lawsuit that will bring Russia to justice over the annexation of Crimea.”

Poroshenko said that they will also appeal to the arbitration court in Stockholm: “The question is not only the recognition of Russia as an aggressor. The goal is to impose multi billion dollar fines on Russia. If this state wants to remain as a subject of the international community, it should fulfill the court's judgment and bring to justice those responsible for the crimes. We will definitely appeal to the Court. While the court is considering an appeal, we will effectively work on the issue of Crimea's return.”
