This year 3200 pilgrims from Azerbaijan will leave for Hajj pilgrimage, Spokesperson for the Caucasus Muslims Board Rahima Dadashova told APA.

Note that, Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan will start on September 23.

One flight will be operated on the first day. Following this, two or three flights will be operated every day. The flights from Azerbaijan will last till September 28. Azerbaijanis will return from Hajj pilgrimage 5 days after Eid al-Adha – approximately on October 10. Eid al-Adha will be marked in Azerbaijan on October 4-5.

The document admission for Haji pilgrimage in Azerbaijan was started on February 13. Reducing the number of pilgrims exceeding the limit will depend on the Caucasian Muslims Board. Some of the registered people will be likely reduced as they have not paid for the service. The prices of Hajj pilgrimage is AZN 3250 for the hotel with weak conditions, where meals are served twice a day, AZN 4100 for the hotel with better conditions, where various kinds of meals are served. Hajj pilgrimage will be available only by plane. This year the pilgrims can not travel to Hajj by buses due to the unrests in Syria. Hajj flights will be carried by ASAS – Advance Special Aviation Service).
